A major free update has been released for The Rogue Prince of Persia to celebrate the first anniversary of its full launch, bringing a new ice element, weapons, a tool, arena challenges, and boss battles to the game.
The patch was released on September 17 across all platforms, expanding the content in Ubisoft’s roguelite. The addition of ice serves as the primary new feature, alongside newly introduced weapons and an additional tool.
The update also includes arena challenges and fresh boss fights. In addition to the new content, the developers reworked the difficulty balancing to make the challenge more appropriate for players.
The Rogue Prince of Persia launched in its full version on August 20, 2025. The developers showcased all the major additions of the anniversary update in a new trailer.
