The Lord of the Rings: Circle of Conflict Board Game Launches in November
This year, Middle-earth enthusiasts can look forward to The Lord of the Rings: Circle of Conflict, a new tabletop experience that allows players to command the legions of Darkness or the Free Peoples in a high-stakes hunt for the One Ring.
Publisher Office Dog Games has officially unveiled The Lord of the Rings: Circle of Conflict, a strategic board game set within the iconic fantasy universe. Fans can already secure their copy via pre-order for $49.99.

In this tactical encounter designed for 2–4 players, participants lead the opposing forces of the Third Age. Equipped with a large-scale, dry-erase journal and eight bespoke dice, players will muster legendary figures—including Gandalf and the Witch-king—to shift the momentum of the war in their favor.

The title offers a sophisticated evolution of the “roll-and-write” genre, reimagining it as a theater of strategic clashes where timing and intuition are paramount. By blending dice drafting, hidden movement, and resource management with intense PvP combat, Circle of Conflict challenges players to master the arts of planning, deception, and tactical outmaneuvering.

Inside the box, players will find eight unique dice, four battle boards, four dry-erase markers, four player boards, a first-player token, four reference cards, a One Ring tracker, a comprehensive rulebook, and a signature wooden Gollum token.

While the full release of The Lord of the Rings: Circle of Conflict is slated for November 6, 2026, fans will have a chance to preview the game earlier at GenCon, taking place from July 30 to August 2.
