The Invincible developers reveal Into the Fire, a survival action game set after a megavolcano eruption
Polish developer Starward Industries has officially unveiled its latest project. The studio previously gained recognition for The Invincible, a faithful adaptation of Stanisław Lem’s sci-fi masterpiece that maintained a stellar 88% positive rating among players.
The team recently debuted a gameplay-focused trailer for Into the Fire. Players assume the role of a first responder fighting for survival amidst a cataclysmic super-volcanic eruption, with the primary objective of rescuing trapped civilians. Blending scavenging mechanics with high-stakes hazards, the developers describe the title as an “extraction survival” experience.
Concurrent with the reveal, recruitment has launched via Discord for the upcoming phases of PC playtesting. Into the Fire is currently scheduled for an Early Access release in 2026.
