The Elder Scrolls VI Fans Get New Merchandise Instead of Gameplay, Sparking Theories
Bethesda Game Studios has released a new teaser for The Elder Scrolls VI, revealing the game’s full title as “TES VI: Sentinel.”
The teaser did not show any gameplay, disappointing fans who have waited about eight years since the first teaser. Some have joked that they will be in a nursing home by the time the game comes out.
Hoodies and T-shirts for The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel went on sale shortly after the teaser was published. Some players, including Cr45h0v3r1de, believe the merchandise was the reason Bethesda revealed the Sentinel subtitle:
Ha, so that’s why they revealed the title yesterday — so they could sell you merchandise for a game several years before it comes out. Imagine someone asking you about the game on your T-shirt and you reply, “Yeah, I love that game. It comes out in three years.”

Participants in the discussion noted that the debut teaser will soon be 10 years old, yet the developers still have not shown gameplay to the public. Fans can now, however, buy new merchandise.
The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel does not have a specific release date or release window. According to insider reports, Bethesda Game Studios’ new game is more than two years away.
