GTA VI Promotional Mural Vandalized Less Than a Month After Completion
A Grand Theft Auto VI promotional mural in Brooklyn has been covered with graffiti less than a month after it was completed.
As the game’s release approaches, its marketing campaign has expanded. Locations in Miami have been rebranded in the style of Vice City, and murals have appeared in several cities.
A photo of the Brooklyn mural posted by graffiti artist Jelous.ktd went viral on social media. The word “JELOUS” appears across the bottom of the artwork, covering Lucia’s legs. The upper part of her figure, Jason, and the words “Grand Theft Auto” were left untouched.

Colossal Media, a company specializing in wall painting, created the promotional artwork for the Rockstar Games title. The mural was painted by hand over approximately seven days and completed on October 10.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
