Tales of Berseria Remastered Arrives in February
Bandai Namco has confirmed that the 2017 entry Tales of Berseria will receive a full remaster, bringing the title to modern consoles and PC with updated features and included DLC.
Tales of Berseria Remastered is scheduled to launch on February 27. The story centers on Velvet Crowe, who joins a band of sea-faring outlaws to pursue vengeance after her brother’s death. This remaster adds several quality‑of‑life options — including an encounter toggle, on-screen destination icons, and earlier access to the Grade Shop — and bundles every previously released DLC pack. Watch the official trailer below for a look at the updated presentation.
In our original review, former Game Informer editor Kimberly Wallace awarded the game a 7.5/10. She praised Berseria’s narrative ambition and found its story among the more compelling in the series, while noting that some gameplay and design choices felt underdeveloped — flaws that hindered, but did not derail, the overall experience.
This release is part of Bandai Namco’s ongoing Tales of Series — Remastered Project, an initiative to update classic Tales titles for contemporary platforms as the franchise marks its 30th anniversary. Earlier remasters in 2025 included Tales of Graces f Remastered and Tales of Xillia Remastered.
Tales of Berseria Remastered will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
