Venturing into some areas has become more hazardous.
Misery recently returned to sale on Steam after a DMCA strike. The game has received a minor update that brings new content and gameplay improvements.
The map has been expanded, and two new enemies can now be encountered in the urban zone.
Flies now buzz around corpses, and decomposition time has been significantly extended — the developer explained this will help players locate and recover loot.
Other changes and additions:
- Fixed an issue with “friends-only” servers. You should now be able to host and connect to servers without problems. Be sure to use the SERVER CODE when searching.
- Fixed overflow errors at the Chemical Workbench. If the workbench inventory lacks space, completed items will now appear directly on the bench.
- Fixed a bug causing a ghoul to teleport.
- Fixed an issue where the anomaly counter would reset after restarting the game.
- Fixed an issue with a sticking aiming reticle.
- Several new locations and points of interest have been added.
- Rat-wolves have been made stronger.
- Artifacts can now be retrieved from water.
- Fixed a bug affecting AK magazines in shops.
