Steam Leak Reportedly Reveals Persona 6 Details
A Steam API technical glitch leaked plot details, combat mechanics, characters, social links, and the setting for Persona 6.
Due to a technical glitch in the Steam API, private achievement lists for certain games became accessible to database-tracking services. Persona 6 appeared among them, having shared practically no details since its June announcement at the Xbox presentation.
According to the leak, the main character will begin the adventure with a unique Persona named Dullahan, which is capable of achieving a true final form. The teenagers will join a special police unit named Hex that handles paranormal incidents. A mysterious character named Wilhelmina will serve as the Velvet Room assistant, and the social link system will allow players to form relationships with up to 80 non-player characters.

The game will take place in Yokohama, a port city south of Tokyo. Features returning to the series include developing social stats through part-time jobs, upgrading weapons, fusing multiple Personas, and passing turns to allies during turn-based battles.
The status of the achievements may indicate that the game is close to completion. At the same time, rumors tie the release window to a period before the end of 2027, although Atlus will also need to account for the launch of the Persona 4 Revival remake.
