Spider-Man: Brand New Day is $1.5 Million Away From Another Historic Record After Seven Weeks

Tom Holland’s fourth solo film continues its pursuit of box office records.

Following its seventh weekend, the cumulative domestic box office gross for Spider-Man: Brand New Day in the United States and Canada reached $935.17 million. The blockbuster now needs to earn approximately $1.49 million more to set a new domestic box office record.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens remains in first place with $936.66 million earned in the United States and Canada. The film has held the record since 2015, but at its current pace, Brand New Day could surpass it within the next few days.

Worldwide, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has already grossed $2.451 billion, ranking it third among the highest-grossing films in history. Only Avatar and Avengers: Endgame rank higher, having grossed $2.743 billion and $2.799 billion respectively.
