“Space Wanderer” Arrives in Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus for Halloween
Snowprint Studios is preparing a holiday update for its mobile tactics title, drawing inspiration from the classic 1989 board game Space Hulk.
On October 26, Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus will launch a Halloween event whose centerpiece is a mode inspired by the legendary Space Hulk board game. Players will push through the shadowed corridors of abandoned starships and fend off relentless waves of foes. Each run begins with scarce resources — squads must survive step by step, win turn-based clashes, and choose bonuses after every victory to strengthen their units. Fallen fighters can be replaced while reinforcement points remain.
The event’s rules will shift between attempts: sometimes you’ll be allowed extra units, and other times stricter limitations will be applied, prompting you to experiment with tactics and squad composition.
Completing the survival mode unlocks a full narrative campaign in which the Black Templars and Adepta Sororitas face off against a plague-ridden Death Guard. The campaign follows Tacticus’ usual faction restrictions, linear progression, and a separate rewards track.
