Some Baldur’s Gate 3 Developers Baffled by TGA 2025 Nomination, While Swen Vincke Is Very Pleased
Larian’s hit is once again nominated at The Game Awards.
The nominees for The Game Awards 2025 were recently announced, and the acclaimed role‑playing game Baldur’s Gate 3 is among them.
The game’s official account responded to the nomination:
We are honored to be nominated again this year in the Best Community Support category — but truly, this nod belongs to your unwavering passion and devotion to Baldur’s Gate 3.
However, the Larian Studios account had a rather different reaction:
Honestly — what the heck, thanks everyone.
Commented Larian’s boss Sven Vinke:
The team will be absolutely thrilled!!! BG3 has been nominated for “Best Community Support” for the third year in a row. Thank you!!!
