Sexy girls couldn’t save this fantasy extraction dungeon crawler from shutting down
Despite the developers’ emphasis on meticulously designed female character models, Dungeon Stalkers has failed to gain significant traction in the gaming market.
Following the recent announcement regarding the impending shutdown of Eldegarde, the creators of another fantasy-themed extraction title have delivered a similar blow to their community.
The development team behind the PvEvP dungeon crawler Dungeon Stalkers has announced that sales of all DLC and in-game items will be suspended starting today.
While Dungeon Stalkers features stylized female protagonists, its player base peaked at just over 5,000 concurrent users during its initial release. Since then, engagement has plummeted, recently hovering at a meager 100 to 120 active players.
Dungeon Stalkers servers will remain operational in their current state until June 9, 2026. The title remains free-to-play and can still be added to Steam libraries for the time being.
