Sekiro: Undefeated Anime Creators Showcase Divine Child of Rejuvenation in Character Trailer
Kadokawa has released the ninth character trailer for the upcoming anime adaptation of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, shifting the spotlight to the Divine Child of Rejuvenation.
Published on the official KADOKAWAanime YouTube channel, the teaser focuses on the inhabitant of the Inner Sanctum within Senpou Temple. The young girl is the sole survivor of the monks’ experiments to artificially recreate the Dragon’s Heritage using the Waters of Rejuvenation. In Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, she guards the Mortal Blade, aids Wolf throughout his journey, and plays a vital role in reaching the Return ending.
Voice actress Risa Shimizu returns to voice the character, reprising her role from the FromSoftware game.
Sekiro: No Defeat brings the storyline of the original game into hand-drawn 2D animation. Animation studio Qzil.la is producing the project, with Kenichi Kutsuna directing, Takuya Sato writing the script, and Takashi Mukouda directing the action sequences.
The anime will debut in Japanese theaters for a three-week limited run starting September 4, 2026. Crunchyroll will stream the project worldwide later, though the platform has not yet announced a digital release date.
