Dragon Hunters Board Game to Receive Dark Element Expansion With Necromancer and New Modes
Board game publisher Evrikus has announced that it is developing an expansion for Dragonslayers, which is expected to be titled Dark Element.
The expansion introduces the Necromancer as a playable hero. This character can resurrect defeated goblins and turn them into allies. Players will also gain access to new gear, including an invisibility cloak, spiked boots, and an amulet of power, which can be crafted or bought in the shop.

The add-on increases the variety of encounters on the board. Level 2 goblins will appear across the map, and players will be able to choose which final boss to confront: the classic fire dragon or a ferocious undead dragon.

Rune cards provide a new card type featuring beneficial effects that players can hold and activate at key moments. The expansion can be played under standard rules or through two alternate modes:
- Head-to-Head: Only one hero can defeat the dragon and claim glory. Players must obstruct rivals, fight them directly, and secure victory for themselves.
- Cooperative: The dragon escapes its lair and begins destroying merchant stalls. Players must upgrade their heroes and work together to defeat the monster before all shops on the board are reduced to ash.

In Dragonslayers, participants play as heroes aligned with various elements, explore a fantasy setting, upgrade their equipment, fight monsters, tame creatures, and compete to be the first to slay the dragon. Dark Element will require the base game to play.
