Several New Halo Projects to Be Revealed at the End of October

Halo Studios has confirmed it will unveil several new projects at the Halo World Championship, scheduled for Friday, October 24, 2025.

The reveals are set for the first half of the day on the event’s main stage, followed by an in-depth community-stage session where developers will showcase what they’ve been working on.

This continues the direction the studio took last year with HaloWC and the “A New Dawn” trailer, which outlined its long-term vision for the series. Since January 2024 the developer has repeatedly said it is working on multiple projects, and it appears the time has come to pull back the curtain.

The announcements arrive amid intensifying rumors about the franchise’s future. Earlier reports suggested at least one new Halo title could launch on PlayStation consoles — a notable shift for Xbox’s flagship series. According to dataminer Grunt API, entries discovered in Microsoft’s Xbox API reference PlayStation compatibility for the new Halo and integration with PlayFab, Microsoft’s progression and matchmaking service. The database also lists a possible multiplayer beta that some have linked to Project Eker.

If those rumors are accurate, the Halo World Championship could become the platform for one of the most consequential announcements in the franchise’s history.
