Sega Announces Free Bayonetta Expansion for Sonic Racing CrossWorlds
Sega has announced a second year of free support for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, starting with Bayonetta as the first new character. The paid Year 2 Pass will add six more crossovers, including Godzilla and Evangelion.
Bayonetta will serve as the first new free character for the second year of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds support, as Sega continues to regularly add characters and paid crossovers.
During the first year, the game added 13 free characters from various Sega franchises, including Hatsune Miku, Joker from Persona, Ichiban Kasuga, Goro Majima, AiAi, Arle, Axel, Amigo, and Classic Sonic.
This same model will continue into the second year. Bayonetta will be the first new character, with details on her release promised at a later date.
The first year also featured six paid crossovers with Minecraft, SpongeBob SquarePants, Pac-Man, Mega Man, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. An Avatar-themed pack will arrive in October.
Sega also announced the Year 2 Pass, which includes six new paid collaborations. Godzilla and Evangelion are already confirmed.
