Second Trailer for Avengers: Doomsday Released

Marvel Studios revealed fresh footage from its upcoming crossover event during the D23 2026 presentation, debuting a new trailer for Avengers: Doomsday.

The teaser focuses heavily on the motivation and sheer strength of Doctor Doom. Robert Downey Jr.’s villain intends to force the heroes to pay for the fallout of their actions across different universes:

“You have all lived stolen lives. Now it is time to return them.”

The preview also features an extended look at a clash between Thor and Doom. The villain halts Stormbreaker using just two fingers, throws Thor backward, and summons Sentinels—mutant-hunting robots—from underground. The scene confirms that the battle takes place near Charles Xavier’s destroyed school.

Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to premiere on December 18, 2026. The direct sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, will follow in theaters on December 17, 2027.
