Second Season of Ice Wall Receives New Trailer Featuring Opening and Ending Themes
The continuation of the webtoon adaptation by Koin Agasawa will premiere on October 1.
The creators of the anime Ice Wall have released a second trailer for the continuation. The video features both musical themes for the season: the opening track Escort by THE BEAT GARDEN and the ending track Hanakage by singer Superfly.
Ice Wall follows Koyuki, a withdrawn high school student who keeps people at a distance and avoids others due to an unpleasant past. Her routine life changes after she meets Minato, a friendly and persistent person who completely disregards the boundaries she has set up.
In the second season, the relationship between Koyuki and Minato will grow beyond ordinary friendship, and Yota will finally tell Miki about the feelings he has hidden for many years. Some characters will decide to openly state their desires while others continue to remain silent, which will further complicate the relationships within the group.
Studio KAI has returned for production. Mankyū is back in the director’s chair, and Yasuhiro Nakanishi continues to handle the script adaptation. The main characters will once again be voiced by Anna Nagase, Shōya Chiba, Fuka Izumi, and Satoshi Inomata.
Broadcast of the second season will begin on October 1 on Japanese television networks TBS. New episodes will start rolling out on Netflix on October 2, and on Prime Video, Disney+, U-NEXT, and other services starting October 9.
