Sci‑Fi Survival Forever Skies Reworked Following Fan Requests — First of Three Major Updates Released
Polish studio Far From Home, which launched the sci‑fi survival title Forever Skies in April 2025, is pleased with the game’s reception. On Steam the project currently holds “mostly positive” reviews, though the team admits there are weaknesses some players have pointed out.
The developers set about making improvements, culminating in the refreshed Echoes 1 update. At the same time, the team outlined its plans for ongoing support.
The Echoes 1 patch, released on November 17, expands the first biome and introduces a new content structure. Highlights include ten additional missions that deepen players’ familiarity with the world, reworked and more varied locations, an updated resource extraction system, six new exploration sites, eight decorative pieces for the airship, and a built‑in feedback tool.
Echoes 1 is the first of three planned steps. The second update, scheduled for December, will focus on the second biome and add fresh elements. The third patch is slated for spring: developers will enlarge the third biome and prepare “larger changes affecting the entire game”.
