Rumor: Bohemia Interactive Developing a New DayZ Game
Some fans would prefer to see a polished version of the original first.
Recently, DayZ enthusiasts noticed new developer job listings and began speculating that Bohemia Interactive might be expanding the franchise with an entirely new title, rather than only releasing DLC for the current game.
The vacancy states that the “Senior Environment Artist” will contribute to an unannounced project, framing the role as an opportunity to be “at the centre of an innovative game that will influence the studio’s future.”
That said, not everyone interprets the posting as evidence of a so-called DayZ 2. Some argue the listing may actually pertain to the already announced Badlands expansion, and that the job description on the site simply wasn’t updated.
