Roguelike City-Builder About Creating Tiny Metropolises Launches on Steam

Comment Views: 0

Developer Crux Games has launched Combolands: Roguelike Citybuilder on PC via Steam, offering a bite-sized city-building roguelike centered on fast-paced runs and strategic synergy building.

Positioned as a miniature strategy title, the game challenges players to build flourishing mini-megapolises across short runs. Core mechanics revolve around placing structures, developing powerful synergies, and setting off chain combos to maximize city efficiency.

Players can unlock several distinct guilds over time, each bringing its own strengths, weaknesses, and playstyle traits. Each run starts on a fresh procedurally generated map where players select two guilds to combine, working toward the overarching goal of expanding a modest village into a prosperous metropolis.

Combolands: Roguelike Citybuilder is currently available on Steam with a 20% launch discount active through August 31. Initial user reception is entirely positive, holding a 100% rating on the platform, while launch day peak concurrent players crossed the 1,000 mark and continued to rise.
