Reports Indicate Nintendo Plans Major Showcases Following Sony’s Example
Nintendo will hold two major consecutive showcases, starting with a The Legend of Zelda 40th anniversary Direct on September 8, 2026, followed by a Switch games presentation on September 9.
Nintendo dispelled rumors regarding its upcoming broadcasts. A 30-minute Direct dedicated to the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series will begin on September 8 at 5:00 PM Moscow time.

One day later, on September 9, a general Nintendo Direct featuring news and announcements will also take place at 5:00 PM Moscow time. The presentation will last for 45 minutes. A Nintendo Treehouse broadcast will follow immediately afterward, during which developers will showcase gameplay for some of the featured projects.
