Rainbow Six Siege X developers reveal Operation Tenfold Pursuit — operator remaster, reworked map, and new weapon
The developers are refreshing several maps and the operator Thatcher.
The team behind Rainbow Six Siege X has revealed details about the upcoming Operation Tenfold Pursuit update. The patch will adjust one operator and overhaul multiple maps.
They introduced a remastered Thatcher: his loadout has been expanded — he now gains access to the PMR90A2 marksman rifle. The developers note he becomes the “first operator with four primary weapon options.”
Thatcher’s EMP device has been upgraded: it now acts as a scanner-disabler capable of detecting and neutralizing electronic devices within its effective radius.
The developers have reworked the “Fortress” map:
It now features fewer corridors, more balanced charge points, improved entry routes for assault teams, and the interior courtyard has been converted into an exterior area. With these changes, “Fortress” now aligns with the [developers’] standards for competitive play. In addition, several issues reported by players have been fixed.
