Fans of Reacher know that Jack Reacher is never gone for very long. The Prime Video series has turned Lee Child’s wandering ex-military cop into one of TV’s most reliably entertaining action heroes. Season 4 is nearing its conclusion, and a new spin-off waits in the wings. Viewers might expect a long wait for the next chapter, but Jack Reacher returns this October.

The return happens on the page rather than on television. Lee and Andrew Child are releasing a new novel titled Chain Reaction. This 31st Jack Reacher outing gives fans another dose of the character before the show returns for season 5.
