Players Reject Polish Survival Game Honeycomb After Disappointing Launch

Honeycomb: The World Beyond, developed by the creators of House Flipper, launched on Steam with overwhelmingly negative reviews and a peak concurrent player count of just 737 users, despite surpassing 224,000 wishlists.

Developed by studio FrozenWay, the game was conceived as a much smaller-scale Polish version of No Man’s Sky. The project initially built steady momentum on wishlists, and each new promotional material raised hopes for a strong performance.

The game launched on September 8, 2026, but players met Honeycomb with a poor reception. Early review scores caused the game to quickly lose visibility on Steam. It currently holds a 64% positive review score and drew a peak concurrent player count of 737 users, while remaining on the wishlist of more than 224,000 users.

The involvement of the publisher behind the Ark Survival series added to the disappointment, as the project held high potential for success.
