The Plants vs. Zombies franchise has long been beloved for blending accessible gameplay, sharp humor, and tactical depth as players fend off waves of the undead. EA is preparing a comprehensive remake of the classic title — Replanted is designed to reignite the series’ charm and renew the conflict between flora and the living-dead.
A new trailer captures the game’s core: refreshed visuals, fluid animations, and a contemporary interface befitting 2025. The developers have remained faithful to the original while introducing refinements that make the experience feel modern and lively.
The video showcases the traditional single-player campaign, cooperative modes, a suite of mini-games, and a PvP mode for head-to-head battles with other players. Several fresh challenges have also been added.
Plants vs. Zombies Replanted will launch on October 23, 2025, across all major platforms.
