Kinetic Games has released the second Quality of Life update for Phasmophobia. Version 0.19.0.0 is live on PC and PlayStation, while the Xbox release will follow.

The update adds Restricted variants of Prison, Brownstone High School, and Point Hope. These condensed versions preserve familiar locations while making investigations faster and giving teams more variety when choosing smaller maps.

Clearer evidence and improved coordination

Photo Cameras, Video Cameras, and Sound Recorders now indicate when evidence has already been recorded. Evidence and ghost-type selections made by other players also appear in the Journal, reducing duplicate checks during an investigation.

Custom Difficulty now lets the host predetermine the ghost type. Kinetic Games has also revised death presentation and voice chat behavior, expanded the Journal’s item tracking, and introduced a range of stability and gameplay fixes.

VR and accessibility improvements

VR players receive a more responsive character rig and numerous fixes based on community feedback. The update also adjusts several equipment interactions and improves multiplayer stability.

The complete list of changes and known issues is available in the official patch notes.
