Phantom Blade Zero Platinum Trophy Can Be Earned in a Single Playthrough
Phantom Blade Zero will allow players to earn its platinum trophy in a single playthrough, while the real challenge begins in New Game+ with the “66 Days” mode.
Soulframe Game Director Liang reported that the platinum trophy can be earned on any of the three main difficulty levels, including the easiest Wayfarer setting. All achievements are designed for a single playthrough so players can focus on world exploration.
A true test of skill awaits in “66 Days,” a mode exclusive to New Game+. The save file is entirely separate, the game automatically records progress, and previous results cannot be loaded manually. Every mistake is final. If a player uses up all available days, they will see a special ending, after which the session ends.
Trophies are not tied to the “66 Days” mode, so completing it will not be required for the platinum. Phantom Blade Zero will also feature 55 weapon types with a distinct progression system that affects not only stats, but also combat style. The game will be released on PC and PS5.
