Palworld Teams Up with Retro Shooter Ultrakill and Teases Update 1.0 — Developers Unveil “Home Sweet Home” Trailer

Pocketpair is gearing up for a second Palworld crossover and reiterates the forthcoming release of version 1.0.

Pocketpair has officially announced the launch date for Palworld’s second crossover — the “Home Sweet Home” update will go live on December 17, 2025, bringing elements from the celebrated retro shooter Ultrakill.

The trailer released by the studio highlights Ultrakill’s distinctive arsenal — including its signature coin shot — and introduces two playable characters, V.1 and V.2.

The update also expands base-building and customization options. Players will be able to recolor materials, change wall and floor finishes, and assign tasks to their pals.

Yet the segment that stirred the most conversation among fans was the trailer’s final moment, where the developers again hinted at the 1.0 release. In the scene a character confronts a towering creature rising from the water; its outline and skull-like head immediately reminded fans of the enormous flying whale shown in Palworld’s earlier trailers.

With this tease the developers reiterated that version 1.0 is planned for 2026 — though an exact date remains undisclosed.

The trailer is available at the following link.
