Owlcat releases new hotfix for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader — improves Exorcist Psyker effects and fixes talents
The inventory system and numerous abilities will now function as intended.
The team behind Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is steadily addressing bugs introduced by the major 1.5 update. They recently issued hotfix 1.5.0.305, which contains several technical corrections and other tweaks.
Notable changes
- Psyker Exorcists received enhanced visual effects for the Sword of Faith.
- The Sword of Faith now uses the attack area of two-handed swords rather than that of one-handed blades.
- The formula for the Commissar’s “Not a Step Back!” ability now displays correctly.
- Talents that added new properties to weapons could cause those bonuses to reapply on every game load, stacking repeatedly — this has been fixed.
- The inventory “unsorted” option is functioning correctly again.
- Abilities granted by officers assigned to stations during space combat will no longer disappear after saving and reloading. The developers noted that in existing saves you may need to reassign officers to their posts once for the fix to apply.
- An empty “Very long name” category was removed from the character abilities screen.
- Fixed an issue where abilities sometimes failed to dim after being used in combat.
- Removing an ability from the main abilities bar occasionally duplicated its icon and left the duplicate undeletable — this has been fixed.
