Despite efforts to lower expectations, viewers say the third season not only falls short of the first but even appears weaker than the second — which itself drew attacks but still maintains an 8.1 rating on IMDb. Fans have likened the new episodes to a PowerPoint presentation, calling the series a “voiced slideshow.” On social platforms comments such as: “We thought there was nowhere left to fall after the second season. We were wrong” are spreading, and calls are growing to remake the anime with a different studio or a new creative team.

By comparison, even Blue Lock — often criticized for “slideshow-style animation” — posts significantly higher figures: its lowest-rated episode is episode two of season two at 6.1, and the show’s average rating consistently sits around 8.1.

Nevertheless, this is not the industry’s absolute low: projects like the film “Daniel the Wizard” and the animated feature “Night at the Supermarket” received 1.2 and 1.3 on IMDb, respectively.
