Obsidian Unveils Collage for Fallout: New Vegas’ 15th Anniversary and Announces Special Stream as Players Call for a Remaster
Some fans are still holding out hope for a refreshed return of FNV.
In October, fans marked the 15th anniversary of Fallout: New Vegas. The team at Obsidian joined in the celebrations.
They put together a commemorative collage of FNV moments and addressed the community:
“Today marks 15 years since the release of Fallout: New Vegas.
Since 2010, players have roamed the Mojave Wasteland, where countless Couriers traveled the same roads, each one carving out their own tale. Thank you for keeping the spirit of the game alive all these years.”
The developers also announced a special livestream to celebrate Fallout: New Vegas — it’s scheduled for November 15 and will be part of the Fallout Fan Celebration.
Fans responded to the post by urging the studio to deliver a remaster or a remake:
GuyInRealLife81 : «So… are you doing a remaster? Yes? Or… a remake?!? Are you announcing one of those, right? Right? You won’t let this chance slip by, will you? No? So… when is it coming out?».
ElRuckus443: «This was the PERFECT opportunity to announce a remaster, and you missed it»
iKharrma: «You post things like this without any news about a remake or FNV2 — you’re pulling at my heartstrings. Come on, you all know what people want!!»
