The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered is scheduled for release on September 29, 2029, featuring full path tracing, DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, updated DLSS Super Resolution, and improved frame generation.

The collaboration between CD Projekt RED and NVIDIA began in 2015 and continued with the 2022 update. The remaster will now go further, as path tracing improves character hair to build on the ideas of NVIDIA HairWorks, and DLSS Super Resolution 4.5 increases detail and image quality. Frame Generation will become faster and reduce latency.

GeForce RTX 50 owners will receive Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, a technology that will allow the number of generated frames to increase by up to six times. Support for NVIDIA Reflex and ray-traced effects is also confirmed.

The remaster will not be limited to graphics. The free update will add a reworked skill system, new animations, improved combat, cross-platform mod support, deeper meditation, and an expanded photo mode.
