NVIDIA Acknowledges 595.59 Issues, Recommends Rolling Back to Older Drivers
NVIDIA has pulled its latest GeForce 595.59 driver update following widespread reports of critical malfunctions affecting RTX series graphics cards.
Since the release, users have encountered a variety of severe issues, ranging from broken boost clock logic and inaccurate GPU telemetry to complete fan failure, where cooling systems simply refuse to spin up.
A contributor at Guru3D validated these concerns, noting that their system experienced a staggering 30–40% drop in gaming performance alongside highly unstable fan behavior.
In response to the backlash, the company has suspended downloads for the 595.59 update and advises users to revert to the more stable version 591.86, released on January 27. Those using the NVIDIA App can downgrade by heading to the Drivers tab, scrolling down to the 591.86 build, and selecting the “reinstall” option.
