Cyberpunk 2077 Modders Add Tech from Modern Warfare 4 Beta, Compare Graphics with DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction
Dataminers exploring the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta files have uncovered what appears to be an unreleased NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction model.
Beta testing for the upcoming shooter launched in late August on consoles and PC, initially opening access to players who pre-ordered the game.
The creator of the YouTube channel ultra+ spotted the discovery and decided to test the build in action:
I was browsing the NVIDIA subreddit and found that the DLL file for DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction was already available for download. I got curious about how version 4.5 looks compared to the current DLSS 4, so I ran a quick comparison.
According to ultra+, the DLL file is digitally signed June 2026, indicating it may not represent the final version of DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction.
While YouTube compression can obscure finer visual details, ultra+ stated that during gameplay, “even in this unofficial version, the difference is really noticeable.” The performance cost remains roughly identical to DLSS 4, while DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction delivers sharper texture clarity and reduced image noise.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is scheduled to launch on October 23, 2026.
