The creators of Liminal Point have released a new trailer featuring gameplay footage. The project is presented as a psychological survival-horror.
The story is set on a mist-shrouded island:
As Lyra explores the island’s gloomy, deserted corners, she will uncover mysterious messages, confront nightmarish beings that defy explanation, and come face-to-face with a past that refuses to stay buried. With every step, reality begins to twist, the border between dream and waking fades, and Lyra’s mind is tested, forcing her to stare into the darkest reaches of her own consciousness.
Liminal Point is slated for release in 2026. The developers cite games such as Signalis, Resident Evil, and Silent Hill as influences.
Some players have remarked that the protagonist resembles Claire Redfield from the Resident Evil franchise, though the developers say this resemblance was not intentional.
