Nikita Buyanov Threatened **** with Cheats in Escape from Tarkov — Developers Prepare a Powerful Response
It looks like players who rely on unfair advantages are about to face fresh trouble.
For years, Escape from Tarkov players have had to deal with a range of cheaters. In this hardcore shooter—where death often means losing your equipment—the threat of cheating is particularly acute.
Battlestate Games chief Nikita Buyanov recently warned: “we’re preparing something special for cheaters.”
Earlier at the Tokyo Game Show he already hinted that cheaters will face serious trouble when EFT launches:
“We’re building something powerful. Hopefully, at the very least, [cheaters] won’t show up for a long time. We’ve got some tricks planned—fairly serious ones—that will make life a lot harder for cheaters. Much, much harder.”
The full release of Escape from Tarkov is expected on November 15.
