Battlestate Games has shared new details about the upcoming ranked league system for Escape from Tarkov, which will place seasonal characters into weekly experience-point competitions.

Battlestate Games head Nikita Buyanov previously published the list of ranks and has now explained how players will advance through the brackets. After completing their first raid, players are placed into a 50-person group within their corresponding rank tier.

  • A player’s position on the group leaderboard depends on the total experience (XP) accumulated during the week.
  • XP is earned in raids by eliminating PMCs, Scavs, and bosses, completing tasks, examining items, and performing other actions. Experience gained in Escape from Tarkov: Arena will not count toward league standings.
  • Higher weekly XP totals lead to higher placements on the leaderboard.
  • At the end of each week, the top 25 players are promoted to the next rank, 15 remain in their current rank, and the bottom 10 are demoted.
  • In ranks 5 and 6, the top 20 players earn promotions, 20 remain in place, and 10 are demoted.
  • Players receive rank-specific rewards the first time they reach a new tier.
  • Unlocked rewards remain in a player’s collection permanently, even if their rank drops later.

Buyanov also revealed the rewards tied to the Conductor (VII) rank.

The league system is expected to launch next month with seven tiers:

  • Rookie (I)
  • Survivor (II)
  • Hardened (III)
  • Relentless (IV)
  • Reborn (V)
  • Initiate (VI)
  • Conductor (VII)
