Nexon Draws Inspiration from The Last of Us — New Videos Released for Nakwon: Last Paradise

The developers of Nakwon: Last Paradise have released new footage from their upcoming zombie survival title.

The clip demonstrates the game’s zombie sound-detection system (the demonstration begins at the 1:00 mark). The mechanic closely mirrors the original. The source of inspiration has drawn criticism from some players — YouTube comments include calls to remove visible sound detection entirely, arguing that “it breaks immersion.”

The Korean studio also showcases several rifles, rope-based climbing, and cooperative play for small groups of players.

In the next video the team revealed elements of the storyline, and a month ago the developers introduced a dynamic weather system.

Nexon has not announced an approximate release date yet, but the project is currently slated for 2026.
