Instead of releasing the entire season on a single day, Paramount+ will spread the rollout across four weeks while launching the show earlier.

Paramount+ has released the official trailer for the animated series Avatar: Seven Havens and revealed a new release schedule for the first season, known as Book 1. Initially, all 13 episodes were planned for release on October 29, but the premiere will now take place nearly three weeks earlier and roll out over four weeks. The first three episodes will debut on October 29 [sic – translator note: matching source phrasing] on October 9, followed by three more episodes each week, and the final four episodes will become available on October 30.

Avatar: Seven Havens takes place after the events of The Legend of Korra. The world has survived a devastating cataclysm that left only seven havens of civilization remaining. The survivors blame the new Avatar for the catastrophe and view them as a threat to humanity.

The next Avatar after Korra is an earthbender named Pavi from the city of Allura. Upon learning of her destiny, she is forced into hiding and must work with her twin sister, Nisha, to uncover answers about her past while trying to save the last seven bastions of civilization from complete destruction.

Paramount+ has already ordered a second book of the same length, which will also consist of 13 episodes. A release date for the second book has not yet been announced.
