
The highly anticipated Splatoon Raiders—a PvE-focused spin-off exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2—is nearly here. Following a fresh gameplay reveal during today’s Nintendo Direct, we have a clearer look at what’s in store for this chaotic third-person shooter when it officially launches on July 23.
Beyond the new trailer, Nintendo confirmed a dedicated Splatoon Raiders Direct scheduled for June 30. To build further momentum, fans can dive into the narrative background via daily digital comics available in the Nintendo Today app. Players can also look forward to a special Splatoon Raiders Splatfest celebration slated for July.
In Splatoon Raiders, you step into the role of a customizable Inkling mechanic. Alongside the musical trio Deep Cut, you’ll journey to the mysterious Spirhalite Islands to repel the menacing Salmonid forces. While the experience is tailored primarily for solo play, the title also supports online cooperative multiplayer for up to four players.
To coincide with the July 23 release, Nintendo is launching three new Amiibo figures featuring Shiver, Big Man, and Frye in their Raiders attire:
