Russian Car Simulator City Car Driving 2.0 Receives New Physics and Mouse Controls
Developers are steadily improving various aspects of the driving simulator.
This summer, studio Forward Development released the driving simulator City Car Driving 2.0 in Steam Early Access on PC. The developers have since rolled out a series of updates featuring various improvements for the game.
A recent update added mouse steering support to City Car Driving 2.0.
Additionally, the developers fixed bugs in the examination route navigator, replaced intersection signs with major road signs, and “partially fixed” disappearing trees and texture holes in the environment. They also resolved display errors in the rearview mirrors.
Previously, after reviewing feedback on how vehicles handle at high speeds (over 80 km/h), the City Car Driving 2.0 developers decided to rework the physics: “Now the car behaves predictably at any speed, and the handling has become much more pleasant and responsive.”
The City Car Driving 2.0 store page on Steam is available via the following link. The developers expect the project to remain in early access for approximately 1 to 2 years, during which new content and improvements will be added to the game.
