New Naruto Animated Film Reportedly Slated for October 10 Reveal

Viz Media is preparing additional announcements for the franchise.

According to Variety, Viz Media will present a new Naruto animated film at New York Comic Con on October 10. The panel will feature the first footage from the project alongside additional details, including an expected release date.

The presentation will not be limited to the film alone. Viz Media previously launched a countdown on the official Naruto website and promised to unveil a roadmap for the future of the franchise. Specifically, Variety reports that the event will showcase the first video trailer for the Naruto Card Game.

Fans are also awaiting news regarding previously announced projects. Boruto has been on hiatus since March 2023, and four special episodes of the original Naruto series that Studio Pierrot postponed to improve quality have still not received a new release date. It remains unknown whether these projects will receive any updates during the presentation.
