After its first reveal during a PlayStation State of Play in February, Tides of Annihilation returned to the spotlight today during Microsoft’s Partner Preview. The developer released a four‑minute gameplay trailer that centers on an enormous, cinematic boss encounter — a highlight reel that demonstrates the game’s visceral combat and spectacle.
The title reimagines Arthurian myth against the backdrop of a modern, ravaged London. An otherworldly incursion has splintered reality into mirrored realms, and players take the role of Gwendolyn as she slips between contemporary London and the fabled Avalon. Her mission: recover her family, defend the city, and halt an unraveling of existence itself.
Today’s footage focuses on a show‑stopping clash with Tyronoe, one of Morgan le Fay’s eight sisters. Eclipse Glow Games has confirmed the trailer is captured in‑engine, and it reveals how Gwendolyn can call upon ten legendary knights to bolster her abilities. In the sequence, she even pairs up with former rival Sir Lamorak to turn the tide of battle.
Tides of Annihilation is slated for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A firm release date has not been announced.
