New Carmageddon Turns Out to Be a Roguelike — First Rogue Shift Teaser Released
A classic franchise is set to make a comeback soon.
A mysterious Steam page for an upcoming project has recently surfaced. The main title is hidden and only the subtitle “Rogue Shift” is displayed.
The surprise, however, was short-lived: SteamDB preserved the full original name — Carmageddon: Rogue Shift.
The game’s description is partly redacted, but it includes hints and keywords such as: zombies, triumph, chain, racing, deadly, beyond the mountains.
It appears the project is a “combat-racing roguelite” — essentially vehicular combat racing blended with roguelite mechanics.
Carmageddon: Rogue Shift is being developed by 34BigThings srl — the studio previously known for working on the Redout franchise (high-speed racing titles).
A full reveal is scheduled for December 4.
