Netflix Announces Actors for Mr. 1 and Miss Doublefinger in Season 3 of One Piece: The Big Score
A fresh casting update suggests the Alabasta arc is headed for adaptation.
Following the recent announcement that production has begun on the third season of the live-action series “One Piece: The Big Score,” Netflix revealed additional cast members. Joining the project are emerging actor Avdo Avdo, who will portray Mr. 1, and Daisy Head (Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves), who has been cast as Miss Doublefinger — also known as Zala, the “Poison Spider.”
Both characters are members of the criminal organization Baroque Works, further indicating that the third season will indeed adapt the Alabasta arc from Eiichiro Oda’s original manga.
Filming is underway in Cape Town, South Africa, where the first two seasons were also produced. The second season is slated to premiere on March 10, 2026, but Netflix has already initiated production on the following season to reduce the interval between releases. The decision to renew the series before the second season’s debut was announced in August 2025 — a move that highlights the platform’s faith in the show’s future.
It was previously reported that Sholo Mariduenya will play Portgas D. Ace in the third season — Luffy’s sworn older brother.
