Although Capcom calls Title Update 4 the “final large-scale update,” additional content follows shortly after. On Wednesday, December 24, 2025, Arch-tempered Jin Dahaad will be available. A further update planned for February 18, 2026 will introduce Arch-tempered Arkveld, new quests, and a crossover with Monster Hunter Stories 3. A tease at The Game Awards is also a distinct possibility.
Performance issues have dogged Monster Hunter Wilds’ PC release. To address this, Capcom outlined a three-stage optimization plan over the next three months aimed at improving both CPU and GPU usage.
Capcom is committed to returning to JRPGs in a big way with Monster Hunter Stories 3: “As Capcom developers, we’re able to add our interpretation of what a JRPG is today.”
