Matt Reeves Releases New Image for The Batman Part II on Batman Day

Filming for the sequel starring Robert Pattinson is currently underway in London.

Director Matt Reeves has published a new photo of Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight from The Batman Part II. The picture was taken on the set in London, where production on the sequel is currently taking place.

Reeves also shared that the sequel will maintain the visual approach of the first installment. The crew shoots the footage on digital cameras, after which it is transferred to film and digitized again.

“The level of precision and control over the image that digital shooting provides is irreplaceable. You know exactly what you are getting. Transferring to film and choosing the lenses allow us to return a more organic, analog quality to the footage.”

Alongside Pattinson, the film will feature Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, Jeffrey Wright, Charles Dance, and Brian Tyree Henry.

The Batman Part II is scheduled to premiere on February 18, 2028.
