Marvel Removes Release Date for Second Season of “Daredevil: Born Again” from Press Page, Sparking Concern Among Fans

Fans are worried the second season of “Daredevil: Born Again” may be pushed back.

Attentive viewers noticed that Disney removed the specific release date — March 4, 2026 — for the show’s second season from the project’s internal press page.

Public listings on Marvel’s and Disney+’s sites still indicate a March 2026 premiere. Neither Marvel Studios nor representatives of the streaming service have commented on the change. Insiders close to the studio suggest the removal may simply be correcting a date that was published prematurely, but some fans have voiced concerns about a potential delay.

The second season will continue the story of Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), who now serves as New York’s mayor. Murdock will need to assemble allies to oppose Fisk and his new partners. Among the notable returns is Jessica Jones, portrayed by Krysten Ritter, marking her first on-screen appearance in six years.

There’s little reason to fear a cancellation: a third season has already been greenlit, and production on season two wrapped in July — it is currently in post-production. Still, a scheduling shift remains possible as the studio may adjust Disney+’s release calendar to better space out content throughout the year.

For now, viewers must wait for an official update and hope Matt Murdock returns to screens without significant delays.
