Marvel Releases Lego Trailer for Avengers: Doomsday
Marvel has released an animated Lego version of the preview for Avengers: Doomsday. While the video presents no new scenes ahead of the film’s December debut, the brick-built format offers a fresh look at the upcoming project.
The official Lego recreation trailer faithfully replicates Doomsday‘s first full trailer, which debuted in late July. The footage outlines a multiverse battle uniting the Avengers, the Fox-era X-Men, and the Fantastic Four. Viewers also get a look at Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom. Because the Lego animation reduces the chaotic visual effects seen in the live-action preview, identifying individual characters across several scenes proves much simpler.
The brick version runs three seconds shorter than the live-action original, simply because the animation drops the final release countdown clock. The attention to detail extends to each minifigure’s facial expressions, echoing the animated Lego universe sequence featured in 2023’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
When does Avengers: Doomsday release?
Marvel will release Avengers: Doomsday in theaters on Dec. 18. The blockbuster will compete directly with Dune: Part 3, which secured IMAX screens for the shared release date. Moviegoers seeking an upgraded presentation can view Doomsday in Disney’s proprietary Infinity Vision format. The follow-up film, Avengers: Secret Wars, is scheduled for release next December with IMAX distribution already locked in.

Marvel also plans to provide an additional preview of Doomsday during a theatrical rerelease of Avengers: Endgame, which will include new footage from the 2019 film.
